Recipes
On this page I will try to present my recipes that are inspired by the Celtic culture. I will try to use only ingredients that were available to the Celtic people. However, it is still possible that they never used them in this way. You will see that there are a lot of ingredients that can be used. As a positive side effect, depending on the region you live in, the recipes are completely regional and can be enjoyed in harmony with nature. Some more critical animal-based products, such as milk, can easily be replaced by modern oat products in my opinion.

The variety of legumes is overwhelming and you should really go for it. It doesn't matter whether a particular bean was available to the Celts or not.Dairy

Hazelnut, walnut, pine nuts, lineseed, sunflower seeds,
Vegetables
White cabbage, red cabbage, spinach, carrots, parsnips, kohlrabi, beet, turnips in general, chard.
Nowadays you can also grow zucchinis, pumpkins and cucumbers here. I think these vegetables can also be used without any problems. If you collect wild vegetables, you can also collect goutweed, nettle, dandelion, yarrow and much more. But only if you really know about them.Fruits
Apple, pear, plum, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry
Oil & vinegar
Rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, walnut oil, hazelnut oil, linseed oil
Broths
Vegetale broth

Beet sugar, honey
Breakfast
For breakfast, I like to eat a grain porridge made from oats with dried apples and hazelnuts. I briefly cook the grains in oat milk to make a porridge. It is, of course, also possible to make a muesli without cooking. Other grains, fruits, and nuts can also be used. Personally, I find the breakfast sweet enough. However, it could also be sweetened with a bit of honey.
