1. Draconian - Under A Godless Veil

   Under A Godless Veil is a Doom Metal masterpiece that is highly inspired by gnosticism. I like the dark atmosphere and the spherical sound. In this context, I recommend reading Dancing in the Flames: The Dark Goddess in the Transformation of Consciousness from Marion Woodman and Elinor Dickson from 1996.

2. Hammerfall - Crimson Thunder

   Crimson Thunder is an all-time favorite of mine. I especially like the cover art and is probably one of the best Power Metal albums ever made. Songs like Riders Of The Storm and Hears On Fire a just epic.

3. Heilung - Drif

   I have been fortunate enough to have been present at a Heilung ritual several times. The music of Heilung, and especially Drif, is best enjoyed alone and with good headphones. If you don't grow a beard afterwards, you can't be helped. Pure music for the soul.

   
   
   
4. Peter Gundry - The Ritual (EP)

   Peter Gundry was a godsend and I'm glad that his unique music exists. I listen to the album The Ritual mainly at the highlights of the year, on Halloween, at Christmas, on May Day, etc. It just sets a good mood.

   
   
   
5. Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast

   The Number of the Beast is the best Iron Maiden album in my opinion and also the first one I owned. At some point I had an original record from the eighties from my uncle, a huge poster on the wall and I went to several concerts.
